New developments at school

All day today the school was full of parents concerned about the school's closure. They demanded money as compensation for the fact that they will have to buy new textbooks and uniforms when they move to a new school. Also they're owed their deposits back since the kids won't be at the school for a full school year. It seems there's not enough money for the teachers let alone the parents, so I'm not sure what will happen.

It's more than likely that the school will close at the end of this week.

However...a local school has said it can accommodate all of the pupils and teachers and they will be separate to the rest of the school, so can continue the current syllabus until the end of the academic year. The Korean teachers want to do this. But for this to take place we need the majority of pupils on board, and many parents are uncertain of what to do. There are many obvious advantages to this situation, but I'm unsure of whether it would be best to just start afresh. The local school is supposed to be good, but I don't know much about it yet and what they are offering us.
