Talent Show!

Yesterday, after tonnes of rehearsing, the talent show finally happened. Us teachers had to be there from 4, unpaid. The school spent a lot of money, hiring out a posh theatre, lovely costumes and headset-mics for the kids. There was singing, acting, ballet, violin and more! It went really well and the kids looked even cuter than usual! For the finale us teachers had to go on stage and sing a cheesy song with the kids. It was embarrassing enough having to be on stage singing a song with stupidly cringeworthy lyrics, without the fact that Chi-He and I had no idea what the words were! They went along the lines of: "Good friends forever, nothing is better than friends. Today and tommorow. To share your laughter, joy and sorrow with friends. Just like a family..." Sickening!

Unfortuately, the show was tinged with sadness as there are problems at school at the moment. I reckon the audience were bewildered when several teachers were sobbing in the finale.

(ps - the brain didn't go too well, so we didn't use it in the end. It was much fun making it though!)
